Have you been shopping this quarantine for going back to school? Don’t keep the new things you bought in your garage! Get them shipped to your next school! Packing you car with all the clothes you have and little things take too much room up in your car. And if you are flying you have no shot to bring everything you want. So this is where getting stores to ship to or near your school is essential.
Online stores like Bed Bath and Beyond have been advertising that you can shop in your hometown store and then get what you want shipped to the store closest to your school, or even smaller stuff to your dorm room. Some stores like Best Buy and Home Depot offer free installation, which can be a reliever from when you have been unpacking bags all day.
Another Point I would like to bring up is what to do with the stuff when the school year is over. Many kids have way too much stuff to bring home and it’s not worth driving it home just to bring it back in a couple months. Many people rent out storage units to keep their large dorm room items in. This is a good idea if you have to travel far because it might be cheaper in the long run just to rent a storage unit instead of shipping everything home or to take it on a plane.
